Next weekend is officially the first weekend of summer ☀️
And that means vacation season is HERE ✈️
Weekend getaways. Road trips. Pool days. Summer adventures.
So this week, let’s talk about one of my favorite things:
👉 The perfect summer capsule wardrobe
Because honestly?
There is NOTHING worse than:
- overpacking
- dragging giant suitcases around
- or bringing clothes you never even wear
The goal is simple:
✨ pack lighter
✨ feel put together
✨ and make getting dressed EASY
And yes… you really CAN do it all in a carry-on 😉
✨ My Go-To Summer Travel Formula
When I pack for a trip, I focus on pieces that can mix, match, layer, and work multiple ways.
Here’s what I recommend:
👗 A midi dress in your favorite color
One piece that can be dressed up for dinner or worn casually during the day. Bonus points if it doesn’t wrinkle easily 😉
👖 A great pair of pants or denim
Comfortable enough for travel, cute enough for everyday.
👚 A couple of tops that go with EVERYTHING
Neutrals are your best friend here.
👕 A button-up shirt or lightweight layer
This is the secret weapon 👀
Wear it:
- over your dress
- with your pants
- open over a tank
- or as a light jacket on chilly evenings
👟 Versatile shoes
The fewer shoes, the better. Pick one pair that works with almost every outfit.
🩴 Flip flops for the pool
Because wet tennis shoes are never the vibe 😅
👙 A swimsuit you actually feel GOOD in
Not one you’re constantly adjusting or hiding in.
Beautiful, wear the swimsuit 💕
Take the trip.
Be in the pictures.
